Seddon TShirt Artwork Competition


Be our next featured artist and design our beloved SEDDON T shirt.

Wear where you love!

Flex your artistic muscles and create a masterpiece that reflects our beautiful and diverse neighbourhood, Seddon.

The winning entries will win a Cash Prize.

There are two categories up for grabs:

  • Open Competition (people of any age)

  • Youth Competition (artists aged 0-16)

You must be an Inner West Local – eat, work/learn or play.

Design Guidelines

All designs must be completely original and must not feature any copyrighted or unlicensed imagery.

  • Designs may draw inspiration from our wonderful neighbourhood, Seddon.

  • The initial submission must be provided as a single document in JPEG or PNG format.

  • The winning design must be supplied at full print size, at a minimum of 300 PPI, or as a scalable vector file. Maximum file size limit is 10MB.

  • Design your t-shirt. The white t-shirt template is a guide only. Upload your design as one file, not attached to the t shirt template. The maximum printable area is 300mm x 400mm.

  • All imagery must be the artist’s own work.

The selected designers will be required to sign a standard Artist Agreement as provided by Seddon Village Traders Association.

Chris Gooden, Seddon village traders Association

Chris is President at our Seddon Village Traders Association and the cafe owner at Seddon Deadly Sins. He creates connection and community in everything that he does, and has traded in Seddon for over 20 years.  Chris says, “The thing I love the most about being part of the Seddon community – equal opportunities to contribute to, share with, and enjoy what others give to our community.”

Jess McDonald, High Tees Australia

Jess McDonald

Jess is the incredible talent behind the locally based design studio and social enterprise High Tees,  who make original politically punchy and Australiana merch for everyone to wear. High Tees invites you to “wear your hero, wear your values.”

Jess tells us, “SEDDON is the local village for local people. It is the place where us Westies go to shop, dine, and do our business. It is the place where people know your name and remember your order. It is our place, sandwiched between Footscray and Yarraville.”
